James regularly advises clients on issues regarding financial regulation and compliance (particularly those relating to the SFC), money lending, data privacy, stored value facilities, remittance services, anti-money laundering, and virtual assets. He has advised several high-profile securities brokerage firms, insurance brokerage firms, fund houses, money lenders, banks and other financial institutions. He has assisted several such firms on revamping their standard form documentation.
James is a native English and Cantonese speaker and is also fluent in Mandarin.
